How to use your NameCheap Coupon
We have created this step by step guide to walk you through the process of signing up with our Namecheap Coupon Codes for their Shared Hosting Plans.
1. Click one of the required Namecheap coupons above
The coupons above will take you to the Namecheap site, and copy the chosen Namecheap coupon code to your clipboard.
2. Choose your hosting plan
At the top of the page under the “Hosting” menu item, you will find the option to select the type of hosting your require. In this example we will demonstrate how to use the Namecheap promo codes with their Shared Hosting plan. The screenshot below shows you how to get to the list of Namecheap Shared Hosting plans:
You will then be taken to a list of the 4 plans that Namecheap offers:
You will need to click the “Add to Cart” button for your chosen plan. The first three plans relate to their standard hosting, but differ in the amount of resources you can have (i.e. disk space, bandwidth and addon domains). The fourth plan relates to their Business hosting, and is PCI compliant for Ecommerce, as well as utilizing SSD disks. This hosting is therefore faster than the other shared hosting plans.
For the purpose of this demonstration of how to use one of the Namecheap Coupons we will choose their most popular Professional plan, although if you only have a couple of sites then their Value plan should suffice. Therefore click the orange “Add to cart” and move onto the next step.
3. Enter your domain information
The next stage is to enter your domain information. You can either register a new domain, transfer an existing domain, use an existing domain, or use a domain you already have at Namecheap.
Because you can only use one Namecheap coupon in each shopping cart, we recommend you select the “I want to use a domain I own through another registrar”, or if you have already purchased the domain previously using one of our domain Namecheap coupons “I want to use a domain I own through Namecheap”. By doing it this way, instead of registering the domain at the same time you purchase the hosting you can ensure that you get 10% off the domain registration cost as well.
Once you have entered the domain name you wish to purchase hosting for you should then click the continue button.
4. Enter the Namecheap Coupon, and proceed to checkout
We recommend that you choose to pay for at least one year to make the most of your Namecheap coupon code. You should right click in the Namecheap Coupon box, and select paste (clicking the coupon earlier copied the code to your clipboard). Please note that some coupons will require you to create a free Namecheap account before you are able to use the coupon. You will know if this is the case as a yellow alert message will appear, and all you have to do is click on “create a free account”, enter your details and select continue. You will need to do this before you checkout anyway, but it seems they want you to do it a step earlier.
Check that the discount has been applied and then proceed to checkout.
There are a couple of things to note when using one of our Namecheap Discount codes. Firstly, they apply to the first invoice, so by signing up for longer you can make greater savings. Secondly, you can only use one coupon at a time, so feel free to purchase items in multiple orders.
In addition, you will often find some great offers (unbeatable in many cases) on the order form. One such offer we often find is a $1.99 SSL certificate, which is particularly easy to install at Namecheap (their support is great at helping with this).
5. Continue to Checkout.
You will need to either log into your account or create an account with Namecheap before you can arrange payment for your services. If you have already created a Namecheap account, then you should already be logged in and you will go directly to the payment screen. In our experience you will get an immediate email confirming the purchase, and within a few hours you will receive details of the hosting service. If you are purchasing domains, then you will see these applied to your account immediately.
